A Draft (DRF) listing is the same thing as an Incomplete (INC) listing was in Matrix. It is a listing that you have started entering but it is not complete or ready to be published to the MLS as an Active or Coming Soon listing.
When entering a listing in connectMLS, you can save your work at any time without publishing the listing simply by clicking the Save Draft button:
Additionally, when you are working on a Draft listing, your work is automatically saved as you move from one section to another.
There has been some confusion between the option to save a listing as a Draft and the Activation Status field that appears at the beginning of the listing input process:
The Activation Status field has nothing at all to do with saving the listing as a Draft. The point of the Activation Status field is for you to set the status that the listing should be in when you have finished entering the listing and you want to publish it to the MLS.
