When viewing a listing in the Full Detail report, you can access several different map views of the property from the Additional Info menu, one of which is the Bird's Eye View:
The Bird's Eye View provides an aerial view of the property and surrounding area, including points of interest (such as schools and businesses):
- Toggle between the Map and Satellite views.
- Click for Full Screen mode.
- Rotate the map 90 degrees clockwise.
- Rotate the map 90 degrees counterclockwise.
- Tilt the map (provides a more three dimensional view).
- Access map controls (zoom in/out, move in all four directions).
- Drag the yellow figure (Pegman) onto the map to open the Street View (click here for more information).
If you click the Map button in the top left corner, you have the option of adding a terrain layer to the map. This can help you identify changes in elevation. Deselecting the terrain button smooths the map out.
Clicking the Satellite button in the top left gives you the option of adding/removing labels from the map. Deselcting labels will remove all text from the map, including highways, street names and points of interest. It leaves you with a map with no writing on it whatsoever.
In addition to the options that are accessible through the map controls button (#6 in the above list), you can click on the map and drag in any direction. You can also zoom in/out by holding down the CTRL key on your keyboard and scolling in/out with your mouse.
