If you choose to syndicate your listing to IDX sites (brokerage and agent websites), your name and that of your office automatically appear on the listing.
We have just added a new feature to our connectMLS system called Listing Attribution that can augment your listings with either your preferred phone number or personal email address.
*** NOTE: the Head Broker of your office has ultimate control over the Listing Attribution settings for your office/firm. They can choose to control the attribution preference on their end, or allow all individual agents within the office/firm the ability to set their preference themselves. SmartMLS has no influence over any Broker's attribution settings. ***
The steps in this article are based on offices where the Head Broker has allowed their agents to set their listing attribution preferences on their own.
Click your photo/initials in the top right corner of Connect and click My Settings:
Scroll down to the My Defaults section and click Manage My Listing Attribution Preferences:
Use the Agent Attribution Contact drop-down menu to select the contact information you would like to appear along with your name and your office on your listings when they display on IDX sites:
Note: in addition to your preferred phone number and email address, you also have the option of None, meaning any interested party must use either your office's phone number or email address to reach out regarding the property when they see it on an IDX or VOW website.
The preference you select will be applied to all of your listings that are syndicated to the internet. You can change this setting any time you'd like.
