If you would like to search for listings based on their price per square foot, perform your search and then click the Add/Remove Fields button at the bottom of the search screen:
Type sqft in the filter field at the top of the left column. That will give you a list of all fields that include square feet:
There are three fields that allow you to search for price per sqft information:
- RATIO Close Price By SQFT allows you to search for price per square foot information for Closed listings based on their closed price.
- RATIO Current Price By SQFT allows you to search for price per square foot information based on a listing's current price.
- RATIO List Price BY SQFT allows you to search for price per square foot information based on a listing's original list price.
Use the plus sign next to the option that best suits the needs of your current search. That will add the field to the bottom of the column on the right (the list of fields that are on your search screen). If you'd like, you can use drag & drop to reorder these fields, or you can just leave them as they are.
Make sure to click Save Changes at the top right of the window when you are done. That will bring you back to your search screen and the price per sqft field(s) (and order, if you rearranged the fields) should appear:
Please note: adding/rearranging fields on a search screen is a one-time adjustment unless you click the Defaults icon in the upper right and save the search screen (with the edits you just made) as your default search screen. Click here for more information on setting up default searches.
