Note: this article assumes you are familiar with the process of uploading supplements in connectMLS. Click here for a refresher on uploading documents to your listing.
Changing the document type of a supplement
If you have chosen the wrong document type and need to correct it, go to Add/Edit> Manage Documents:
Enter the MLS number and click Submit:
You will then see a list of all the supplements you've uploaded to this listing. Locate the document you'd like to change and click the icon in the Security column:
Use the drop-down menu to select the correct document type:
After you've selected the new document type, the set of check boxes that appear beneath the document type and name might change. This will occur if you are switching from a document type in the Public Documents section to one in the Transaction Document section (or vice versa) because these sections have two different target audiences- public vs private. Make sure you have the desired check boxes selected for the new document type before clicking the Save button.
If you are switching from one document type to another within the same section (switching from the Residential Property Condition Report to the Mold Disclosure, both of which are in the Public Disclosures section), the check boxes will remain the same.

Adjusting the visibility of a document
If you would like to change who is able to see the document, select/deselect the appropriate check boxes. For instance, if you have uploaded a public-facing document but would like to prevent it from being seen by anyone outside of the MLS, remove the check in the Realtors' Clients (from connectMLS Client Portal, IDX Websites, etc.) check box:
Remember to click the Save button when you are finished making your changes.
The check boxes allow you to be granular when determining who can see your uploaded documents. You can open them up to everyone (both inside and outside of the MLS), limit visibility to just MLS users or clients, or even allow only specific people within the transaction to see a document. You are in full control.
