When a listing is marked Canceled, Withdrawn or Temporarily Off Market in the MLS, its status is not immediately updated on 3rd party sites (IDX, consumer portals).
These status updates are not processed in the same fashion as updates for on market listings (Coming Soon, Active, UC-CTS, Under Contract), which are usually done within a few minutes.
Every midnight, 3rd party sites run a process called Differential, where they compare all listings they have in on market statuses against everything that has come through the data feed. Any listings that do not match an on market status are marked Off Market.
The only off market listings that are processed within the same timeframe as on market listings are those that have been marked Closed.
