Zillow agent and team profiles

Zillow offers a self-service platform that enables agents and teams to manage their own profiles and listing histories. This article outlines how you can leverage this feature to ensure that your past sales and currently active listings are properly reflected on your Zillow profile. 

Note: editing your Zillow profile and/or listing history has no effect on how the information appears within the MLS. It only impacts how the information is displayed on Zillow's site.

 

Sold Listings/Past Sales

By default, if a team is associated with a closed listing via Zillow's feed from SmartMLS, that sale will be attributed to the team's profile, not to the individual agent's. However, Zillow allows team leads to assign past sales to their team members. 

The team lead can achieve this via the following process:

  1. Log in to your Zillow team lead profile. 
  2. Go to Edit Past Sales
  3. Go to the Actions column, click the three dots next to the desired closed listing and click Add team members
  4. Select the appropriate agent from your team. 
  5. Once assigned, the sale will appear as Pending on the team member’s profile. 
  6. The agent must then log into their own Zillow profile, navigate to their Past Sales section and confirm the sale.

 

Active Listings 

If team information is provided in the MLS feed for a listing that is currently for sale, Zillow will automatically associate the listing with the Zillow team profile. 

At this time:

  • The listing will not appear on the individual agent’s profile.
  • To display the listing on a team member’s profile, Zillow recommends maintaining updated team membership connections and ensuring your team profile is properly configured.
