Acreage field (Add/Edit)

When entering a SF for Sale, Residential Rental, Multifamily for Sale or Land listing, the Acres field (on the Lot & Location tab) is a required field:

You must enter a value between .05 (minimum acreage) and 500 (maximum acreage) in the field.

• If SmartMLS has a valid Parcel ID for the property, entering a figure outside this range will generate a warning when you click Validate (or Validate for Publishing). You can proceed with saving/publishing the listing, but our Compliance department will follow up with you for more information regarding the discrepancy.
   
• If there is no tax record for the property (you are using 999999999 as the Parcel ID), entering a figure outside this range will generate an error and not allow you to publish the listing without entering a figure between .05-500.

The Acres field is not required for Condo for Sale, Commercial Sale, Commercial Lease or Business for Sale listings.
