Miscellaneous Connect enhancements

 

  • The SmartBar has been enhanced to better handle address searches in instances where one of the entered words can be part of the street name or the street type. Ex: Pheasant Run (where Run is the street type) vs Pheasant Run Rd (where Run is part of the street name).
     
  • The Broker Forms option has been removed from the Forms menu in the Connect main menu bar.
     
  • Links to SmartMLS Sign have been added:
    • New SmartMLS Sign tile on SSO Dashboard.
    • SmartMLS Forms link in Connect main menu bar has been redirected to the Sign platform.
    • Existing Forms tile on SSO Dashboard has been redirected to the Sign platform.
       
  • The Connect home page has been optimized to load more quickly.
     
  • Users who have assistants can now prevent them from appearing on their Business Card, if desired. The feature had always been present but was not working properly (it was not removing the assistants even after the user removed Personal Assistants from their Business Card Settings).
     
  • When clicking the Password Reset link, the message no longer asks for the user’s email address- it asks for the username (as it should).
     
  • The SmartBar has been enhanced to work for addresses with street number extensions (ex: 174-176 Broad St). This improvement also applies to the Quick Search widget on the Connect home page.
     
  • Market Activity widget: if you used Customize to set up your default criteria (prop type, sub type, city, etc.) and then use the property type drop-down at the top of the widget to select a different property type(s), the search is now properly honoring those selection(s) made in the Property Type drop-down and the resulting listings match the updated property types.
     
  • The office Business Card has been updated so the correct state displays when clicking the List Office link for out-of-state offices (it uses to display CT regardless of where the office is located).
     
  • The Associated Client column of the Favorites folder now displays the client’s first and last names.
     
  • Broker Attribution functionality has been updated to comply with DCP Fair Display guidelines.  
     
  • A password restriction rule has been added to prevent users from reusing their last two passwords.
     
  • When clicking on a parcel on a map and then clicking the Show Map link, the tax report pop-up displays tax data rather than field labels/placeholders.
     
  • A canceled open house event can only be reactivated prior to its start time. Once the event has begun (the start time is in the past) you lose the ability to reactivate it.
     
  • When clicking a section within the Market Activity widget that has more than 1024 results, the listings come up as quickly as regular searches (it does not get stuck on a loading… screen).
     
  • The Elevate tile has been removed from the SmartMLS Member Dashboard.
     
  • All references to Twitter (Business Card, Client Portal, etc.) have been updated to X.
     
  • The Listing Alerts tab (in the Bulletins widget) now accurately aligns with the expiration date. It had been falsely reporting a listing would expire a day earlier than its actual expiration date.
     
  • The Hot Sheets widget can now be customized. Users can reorder the hot sheets using up/down arrows, numbered boxes or drag & drop. They can also change the name of the searches and delete any hot sheets they do not want in their widget.
     
  • We’ve added a new tile for SmartMLS Stats and updated the RentSpree tile on the Member Dashboard (both are in the Featured Products section at the top of the Dashboard).
     
  • Office Managers can now see private documents in the Transaction Dashboard for all listings within their office.
     
  • When using the Share function, the office/Brokerage name now appears on the right side of the listing [in the same section as your name and phone number(s)].
     
  • If a Coming Soon listing undergoes a price change, it will show in both the Coming Soon and Price Increase/Decrease categories in the Market Activity widget.
     
  • When a listing goes into its final status, the Property Condition Disclosure (and its Supplement, if applicable) now changes from public-facing to agent-facing. Additionally, the document(s) can no longer be deleted once the listing is in its final status.
     
  • Users can now enter property sub-type abbreviations when searching in the Smart Bar:
    • Single Family & Condo= sf, condo, coop
    • Residential Rental= rental, rental-sf, rental-condo, rental-mf, rental-rh, rental-other
    • Multi-Family for Sale= multi-family, multi family, mf, mf-2f, mf-3f, mf-4f, mf-5f+, mf-rh, mf-other
    • Lots and Land for Sale= land, lots and land, lots & land, la, la-agri, la-comm, la-ind, la-res, la-other
    • Business for Sale= business, bu
    • Commercial for Lease= commercial lease, coml, coml-bus, coml-ind, coml-inv, coml-office, coml-res, coml-retail, coml-land, coml-other
    • Commercial for Sale= commercial sale, coms, ci, coms-ind, coms-inv, coms-office, coms-res, coms-retail, coms-other
       
  • When a new member joins, their SSO Dashboard tiles will be greyed out (except for the billing widget) until they have paid their fees. Once they have paid, all dashboard tiles will be accessible (the same process as with Suspended users).
     
  • When accessing the SSO Dashboard on a mobile device, the billing widget is available at the top of the screen.
     
  • If a user has included their cell or office phone numbers in their Online Business Card, those numbers are clickable links in the client portal and when the listing is shared.
     
  • The Driving Directions feature now has two options- Google Driving Directions and ConnectMLS Driving Directions.
     
  • You can now go into the Transaction Dashboard (My Listings & Transactions) for a Closed listing and see the First Time Home Buyer information you entered when closing the listing.
     
  • You can once again delete individual listings from Favorites folders. It had been working for a while but then stopped functioning properly.
     
  • When a user clicks the Forgot Password? link, they are presented with a more useful (and less confusing) message outlining the password reset process.
     
  • The connectMLS and SmartMLS Tax tiles have been updated on the Member Dashboard.
     
  • There’s a new date range filter/drop-down menu in My Listings & Transactions to help locate listings more efficiently.
     
  • Firm admins can now access listings for agents through My Listings & Transactions either by selecting My Firm or the individual agent’s name (using the first drop-down in the upper left).
     
  • The Days Back feature of the Market Activity widget should now yield the same results as you would get using the same timeframe in a regular listing search.
     
  • Office Managers can now see expiring listings (within 14 days) alerts in their Bulletins widget.
     
  • When viewing a listing in the Transaction Dashboard, users have access to all parts of the report, buttons, scroll bars, etc. Nothing is cut off on the right side of the screen or inaccessible.
     
  • Office Admins can now see Private Documents for agents within their office regardless of how they access the listing (in Transaction Manager, by going to Add/Edit> Manage Documents or Additional Info> Edit This Listing).
     
  • Instances where the Contract Date was prior to the CTS Date were causing the DOM to calculate incorrectly. This has been corrected.
