Keyword searches in Remarks

You can use the text that the list agent entered in the Remarks fields to help you during a listing search. This is helpful when there is not a corresponding field for what you are looking for.

For instance, if you were looking for properties that may be good to renovate and resell, you could search based on specific words such as handyman, TLC or fixer upper.

Note: The Remarks fields (Public Remarks, Public Remarks Addendum, Agent Only Remarks) are not on the search screens by default. You must use the Add/Remove Fields button at the bottom of the screen to add them (click here for a refresher on adding fields to your searches):

Once you have added the desired Remarks fields, type the word(s) you want to use to help narrow your search. There is an automatic wildcard element built into the fields, so you do not need to enter any special characters (such as an asterisk) on either side of the keyword.

For instance, if you are looking for a fixer upper property, simply type the word fix into the Public Remarks field. That will find any instances where the character string fix is in the field (fix, fixer, fixed, etc.).
