New Construction field

The New Construction Type field (present in Add/Edit as well as on search screens) allows you to designate whether or not your property is new construction (during listing input) or search for properties based on their construction status.

Here is how it appears in Add/Edit:

  • No/Resale means that someone has lived in the house since construction was finished.

  • Completed/Never Occupied means no one has lived in the house since construction was finished.

  • Model indicates that the property is a model unit in a new development or subdivision situation.

  • To Be Built means it is planned new construction, but the building process has not yet begun.

  • Torn Down & Rebuilt means the existing structure was completely torn down and a new one is being built on the existing foundation.

  • Under Construction means the structure is in the process of being built.
