Listing entered under wrong property type

 

connectMLS does not have the ability to change the property type of a listing. If you accidentally enter a listing under the wrong property type and save it as Active, you will have to re-enter the listing all over using the correct property type.

The easiest way to do this is to use the existing listing to clone to the correct property type (and copy the photos if necessary), and then call the MLS office and ask that we delete the one that is under the wrong property type.

 

*** For statistical purposes, it is not proper (nor permissible) to just cancel it- it needs to be deleted from the system completely ***

 

If the listing is still in the Draft status, you will need to delete the Draft listing and then re-enter the listing under the correct property type. You will not be able to clone from the Draft listing, so you will have to start from scratch.
