There are some instances where a listing that should be marked Closed has expired in connectMLS. An example of this would be where a listing was shown to the buyer during the active listing term but the offer was made and accepted after the listing expired.
In these situations, please send an email to changes@smartmls.com that includes all of the relevant closing information:
- Contract Date
- Sales Agent
- Proposed Closing Date (PCD)
- Closed Date
- Sales Price
- financing
- Concessions (if any)
- Where sellers are going/ buyers are from
- First Time Homebuyer Y/N
Once MLS staff gets this information, we will go in and update the listing accordingly.
