As you use the connectMLS system, you will probably begin to accumulate a decent number of saved searches/auto emails (for yourself and for individual clients). As that number grows, it can become a bit cumbersome to maintain order, especially when you are working with many clients simultaneously.
Thankfully Connect provides a couple different ways for you to search through the searches that you've saved.
Prospecting Manager
Access the Prospecting Manager either through the icon in the upper right corner of Connect or by clicking the link at the bottom of the Saved Searches widget on the home page:
Most of the columns within the Prospecting Manager are sortable by simply clicking the column name (at the top of the column):
It can be helpful to use the Srch Name and/or Client/Prosp. columns to sort your saved searches alphabetically.
If you happen to have a large number of saved searches (in the hundreds or more), you may have to do a lot of scrolling to go down through the list, even after you sort it by name or Client.
Thankfully, there is another way to search through your saved searches that can be very effective if you have a lot to look through- the My Searches section.
My Searches
When you are on a search screen in connectMLS, there is a My Searches section on the right side of the screen:
Many Connect users find this section very helpful when trying to access searches they have recently run (using the Previous Searches tab). It is also a great place to search through all of your saved searches.
Click the Saved Searches tab at the top of the section:
You can then use the Filter by client/search name field to search through all of your saved searches. You can search by a client's first name or last name. You can also just enter any word that you used in the search name field when you saved the search. It will even search partial words- entering art, for example, will find a search for a client named Art, a search you named Hartford (because art is in the middle of Hartford), a search for a client named Marty, etc.
This is a powerful tool to efficiently search through all of your saved searches, even if you have over 1,000!
