Changes not appearing on downstream sites

When you make changes to your listing in Matrix, those changes are not immediately displayed on downstream/3rd party websites. Public portals (such as realtor.com) and IDX sites (office and agent websites) all pull data from SmartMLS and refresh their sites on their own schedule. Some sites will update more frequently (4-8 hours) whereas others have longer update intervals (12-24 hours).

The MLS has no influence over how quickly downstream sites refresh data. Generally, any changes to listings that are currently on the market should be reflected on these sites within 24 hours.

If you have made a change to your listing and it is still not showing on a major public portal site (such as realtor.com) within 24 hours, please contact SmartMLS so we can help you try to find out the cause of the issue.
