One of the helpful features of setting up an auto email is the ability (as an agent) to receive a blind carbon copy (BCC) of all emails that are sent to the buyer:
If you open one of these BCC emails and are prompted to log in when clicking to view any of the matching properties, it is because you are not currently logged into the connectMLS system.
Just log in with your usual SmartMLS ID and password and you will be brought directly to the matching listing(s) that were also sent to your client.
If you are already logged into connectMLS when you open your BCC email, you will be brought directly to the listing(s) without having to login.
The reason you are prompted to login is that, when you click to view the listing, it opens for you within the connectMLS agent portal (the full version of the MLS system). This is as opposed to viewing the listing within the client portal, which is the view that your clients see when they open your emails. By opening the listing within the agent portal, you have all the features and functions you normally have when you are logged into Connect instead of the limited functionality of the client portal.
