One of the helpful features of setting up an auto email is the ability (as an agent) to receive a blind carbon copy (BCC) of all emails that are sent to the buyer:
- The View Details button brings you directly to that property in the Client Portal. This does not require any login.
- Clicking the Agent View (Login Required) link brings you into the connectMLS system (also known as the Agent Portal) rather than the Client Portal. This requires you to log into the connectMLS system.
If you are trying to view any of the properties from a BCC email and are prompted to log in, it is because you clicked the Agent View (Login Required) link and are not currently logged into connectMLS. Just log in with your usual SmartMLS ID and password and you will be brought directly to the matching listing(s) that were also sent to your client.
If you are already logged into connectMLS when you click the Agent View link, you will be brought directly to the listing(s) without having to login.
The reason you are prompted to login when clicking the Agent View link is you are attempting to access the connectMLS Agent Portal (the full version of the MLS system). This is as opposed to viewing the listing within the Client Portal, which is the view that your clients see when they open your emails. Opening the listing within the Agent Portal provides access to all the features and functions you normally have when you are logged into Connect instead of the limited functionality of the client portal.
