All auto emails that are created within connectMLS will expire, regardless of whether or not the recipient is actively interacting with them.
The good news is that it is very easy to extend an auto email that is about to expire (or has already expired).
In the process of creating an auto email, there is a setting that gives you the ability to set its expiration date:
You can use either the calendar icon or the drop-down arrow to select the expiration date from a calendar:
Or you can just enter a date yourself by clicking in the field.
Whichever method you employ, you cannot select a date that is more than 180 days from the current date.
After choosing the expiration date, you can also choose to be notified between 1-7 days prior to the expiration:
Here is an example of the message you will receive when one of your auto emails is about to expire:
Clicking the link will bring you into connectMLS.
If you would like to extend the expiration date, click the Prospecting Manager icon in the upper right corner:
Note: you can also access the Prospecting Manager through the Saved Searches widget:
Both options bring you to the same screen.
Use the Expires column on the right side of the screen to help you find the expiring auto email that you would like to extend, put a check in the check box at the far left and click Extend Expiration:
Use the drop-down menu to select the number of days you would like to extend the auto email:
After you click OK, you will be back in the Prospecting Manager and the auto email will have a new expiration date that includes the number of days you just added:
In this instance, we added 60 days to an expired auto email on 6/8/23, extending it to 8/7/2023.
