Search across multiple property types (connectMLS)

When you open the Search menu in connectMLS, you will notice that there is a separate search for each property type (Single Family, Land, etc.):

But what do you do if you want to run a broader search that encompasses more than just one individual property type? For instance, say you have a buyer who would be interested in either a Single Family property or a Multi-Family property. If you open one search or the other, that is the only property type you will be able to search.

This scenario is exactly why our system also includes a Cross Property search. A Cross Property search allows you to search several, or all, property types at the same time:

Once the search screen opens, you can use the Property Type field to choose the specific property types you would like to include in your search:

Just click on any that you would like to include in your search (you do not even have to hold down the CTRL button as you click them). As you click them, they will disappear from the list and appear in light blue in the Property Type field.
